During the past 30 years Poncz has created a rich body of work. His attention to the themes of popular imagery and abstraction has set him ahead in the local art scene. Constantly challenging the technical possibilities of painting, Poncz laid the groundwork for many experimental artists. Today, he remains at the forefront of Israeli art, with work represented in nearly every major museum collection.
